In anticipation of Autism Awareness Month in April, please join us for a free public screening of Wretches and Jabberers at The College of Saint Rose. “This is the true story of two men with autism, as they embark on a global quest to change prevailing attitudes about disability and intelligence.  Growing up, Tracy Thresher, 42, and  Larry Bissnnette, 52, were presumed to be intellectually disabled, and excluded from regular schooling.  Now able to communicate by typing, Thresher and Bissonette travel and meet others with autism in Sri Lanka, Japan and Finland.  This provides an eye opening view of autism done with compassion, humor and a soundtrack with original songs by Ben Harper, Norah Jones and Stephen Stills.”

Free and open to the community.
